This is Don Lerman speaking I've often spoke about the different type of Jalapeno Peppers there are. There used to be a pepper sold that was light green with a hard shell , extremely hot , when you eat one your lips and tongue felt like your hands felt if they were getting frost bite, to my knowledge . I don't think that they sell them anymore . I won with that pepper 18 in 1 minute documented by the BBC film the human senses. N o milk was allowed the year I won. AT LAREDO hard large hard shell dark green pepper ( NOT IN SALAD ) WAS USED AGAIN NO MILK ALILOWED. I congradulate ERIC the red Denmark and Pat Bertoltetti on there jalapenos victories. The above photos are fron 2002 in laredo and 2006 in sky city new Mexico my last contest other then 2 nathan qualifiers. ifI ever get down to 170lbs I will perhaps I can take ERIC up on 1on1 challenge until then goodbye for now..end
